Each year we nominate a Charity to support and raise money during our Annual Tour.
This is co-ordinated by our Captain and Fine Master. Peter Meadowcroft is presently
our Fine Master and has done a sterling job since 2007. To-date we have raised a
total
of £200.50 and donated it to three charities. In 2007 we raised ₤51.00 for
Breast Cancer Care. In 2008 we raised ₤90.00 for Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund and
last year we donated ₤59.50 towards a Special Treatment Chair at the local hospital
in North Staffordshire in memory of Jo Eastwood a friend of Society Members.
During 2010 we decided to spend our money on buying some trophies for the Society.
