What a fabulous weekend in a great part of the Country. The course at Nefyn was just superb especially the old part that spanned across the peninsula with breathtaking
views.Les played consistently well over the three days just edging out Mike Hughes who came second in both Stableford and Stroke Play. Great performance considering Mike only uses irons. A lesson to be learned their guys!!
No late nights in the bar this year with everyone having a relatively early night—other than Cookie and Phil - Cookie deciding to play cards with the girls behind the bar to relieve them of their very heavy purse - total bandit if ever I saw one - slick though. Never play cards with Cookie unless you have money to burn.
So, well done Mr Smith. We all hope you have a good winter cleaning all the silverware—reward for having such a good weekend. Well played.
